The Bible asks us to be watchmen (Ezekiel 33). We're to be sounding an alarm. Trouble is ahead. Time is short.

I think they are showing great wisdom to stay away from speculations of bible prophecy and emphasize things like the gospel and spiritual growth.

There is no excuse not to recognize the times that we are living in. Even a Denver Compost writer (potentially not even a believer wondered about signs in the sky).
