The word "BAPTIZO" was not translated from the Greek.  It means "TO IMMERSE".  When the King James Bible was completed, the king (King James I) happened not to be honoring God.  Therefore, no translation so as not to upset him.  The word was rather transliterated. 

Jesus was baptized by immersion.  If it's good enough for him.  It's good enough for me.  Neither sprinkle nor shower will save you.  Baptism is an act of obedience by a born-again believer.

Catholics:

We do not worship idols (yes you do)
We do not worship statues (you bow to them looks like worship)
We do not worship Mary (say this, then do)
We do not worship the pope (say he's Jesus on earth--he's not)
We do not blindly follow the pope (can you read the Bible alone? or must Rome interpret for you?)
We do not believe that we can earn our salvation (you are work-based or faith based?)

We do believe Jesus is God (God in a host?)
We do believe Jesus redeemed all (all outside the Roman Catholic Church?)
We do believe in the Trinity (is Mary in it?)
We do believe in one gospel for all (then why attempt to murder Protestants who taught saved by grace not works)
We do believe that our faith is demonstrated by our works (do works matter before or after salvation?)
We do believe that Peter was the rock and was given the keys and the power to bind and loose (would Peter agree with that?)
We do believe the popes are Peter’s successors (are they infallible?  why do they change their minds?)

We do believe bad people within the Church do bad things (will they go to heaven adherence to sacraments?) 
We do believe that everyone is a sinner (saved by works and sacraments? or by grace through faith?)

Agreed. Jesus proved his love.  We don't grovel.  We come boldly to the throne of grace.
