Women should not be allowed to preach in church
According to 1Tim 2 v 12, saying women
should not be allowed to lead. Why is the scripture saying
this?
Scripture isn't saying that.
[T]hese days we have great women of God.
And you won't benefit from
their teaching (Jas 3:1).
See:
Unbiblical Headship Doctrine
Yeah, women shouldn't preach or be elders
at a church, but they still have roles in the church...
They make the sandwiches (1
Cor. 12:12–25).
[Women] Learn and preach if you feel that
is your calling.
Dallas Theological Cemetery
doesn't teach that (1 Co 1:12).
God created Adam first, then Eve.
There's your first
mistake--they named the animals (Gen. 2:19, 20)--then she made the sandwiches.
...[I]f we all accept [the
belief]...either male or female.
Oopsie Ga 3:28
Yes, Eve was
deceived and Adam deliberately sinned, that makes him better.
And Christ became sin for us.
Had Adam not eaten the apple, she would have been on her own (Ro 5:17).
Why do you think God was calling out to
him after they went into hiding?
They were covered in light and then they weren't covered
in light (Ge 3:7). We're going to look awesome again soon (1 Cor. 15:51–53).
...Adam named the animals then woman was
created...
They named the animals--Adam (ish
and isha) [Gen. 2:19, 20, Mal 2:15].
[Our glorified bodies] No light.
1 Jn 3:2, Re 1:14
[Fall] The ground will produce thorns and
thistles for you.
Thorns (sin) in the burning
bush (judgment) but the bush was not consumed (grace).
Either women are allowed in leadership
positions or they are not according to scripture.
You'll believe the good ol' boys club or you'll believe God's word (Ga 1:10, 1 Pe 4:5).
[Historically] So women are called for only after men have made a horrendous mess?
The system works.
Adam simply means human.
Adam means humankind.
Adam was not called Ish until woman [Ishah] was separated out of him.
Wrong. She was in him. He kept the name, Adam (אָדָם).
This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created. Genesis 5:1–2 (NKJV)
