"Lot's Fall into Worldliness (Ge 12:8-9).

1.  "He lifted up his eyes."--Lot looked around with his physical eyes.  He used his physical eyeds to make a very important decision (Pr 3:7; 16:25).

Application:  When you and I use our physical eyes, we use our wisdom; we can be deceived because the world can make things look really good.

2.   "He pitched his tent towards Sodom."  --Lot didn't live in the city because he wanted the best of both worlds. 

3.  In chapter 19 Lot's living withint the city walls! --Years had passed between chapters 19; He didn't get sucked in all at once; it was a slow, gradual process.

Application:  What happens to us is many times we get sucked into the world: 

Slowly and gradually we start adopting the ways of the world We start looking like the world.

We start reflecting the world's standards instead of the Word's standards.  Demolishing Strongholds Series.
